Research assistant

Fakhrul Islam is a Research Assistant at the ERGS at the University of South Carolina in the Nuclear Engineering program. He has a BS in Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from University of Dhaka (Bangladesh) and an MS in Analytical Chemistry from University of Montana (USA). He previously worked with marine data from the Arctic Ocean to understand the carbon dioxide cycle that impacts the global climate change. He is currently working on modeling reprocessing facilities and building cruiser simulation interface under the supervision of Dr. Anthony Scopatz.
